Our Tachyon platform enables capabilities that address chip design, photomask making and wafer printing for semiconductor manufacturing and the LithoTuner platform enables lithography optimization for ASML’s leading photo lithography tools, known as ‘scanners’.
Job Description
Through ASMLs portfolio of Lithography, Metrology and Simulation tools we generate massive amounts of data related to the semiconductor patterning process. As a Senior Statistician at ASML you will be responsible for defining and implementing measurement, sampling and data analytic schemes that enhance the accuracy of ASML Computational Lithography solutions to enable improved resolution and control in semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work with experts in data science, scanner, metrology and software domains to create. In addition you will be expected to interact with customers to understand issues and present new solutions. You will work closely with R&D, marketing, field application engineers and sales in ASML, prepare and present technical data and papers in major conferences and customers. Occasional overseas travel is required.
Education & Experience
Requirements are Masters + 3 years relevant experience or PhD in the areas of Data Science, Mathematics, Physical Sciences or EECS. The candidate must have of strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills and excellent verbal and written communication. Knowledge of Photo-Lithography and Image processing are desirable.
Context of the position
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
