Job Description
As Senior Manager Corporate Strategy, you
-Manage a world-class strategic planning process and ensure consistency with related sub processes, e.g. long term market reviews, product portfolio management, and long term financial planning
-Support the Board of Management in developing and realizing ASML corporate strategy
-Drive own modules of strategic analysis to support fact-based decision making by following a value-based approach
-Initiate and drive cross-company strategic initiatives, i.e. deep dive topics as defined during the annual corporate strategic planning process
-Ensure alignment of ASML’s corporate strategy with mid-term strategic plans of all BL’s and sectors
-Secure deployment of strategic priorities within the organization
-Positively engage with internal (ASML) and external (analysts, consultancies) stakeholders on senior and executive levels, in potentially conflicting areas, to create buy-in and alignment around core strategic decision areas.
In this position you will be travelling internationally up to 15% of your time.
Education
MSc / PhD in Physics, Electronics, Engineering or a related subject, ideally in combination with a MBA
Experience
5-10 years relevant Corporate Strategy working experience or consulting in the high-tech industry
-At least 3 years with a top tier strategy consulting firm (e.g. McK, BCG, Bain, etc.)
-Top-notch project management skills with proven track record in complex, global environments
-Outstanding professional in the area of strategy development with focus on business growth, portfolio management, and innovation, as well as M&A and business transformation
Personal skills
-Able to interact with senior business leaders and experts within a large international company
-Comfortable to work on the cutting edge of markets, products, and technological innovation
-Highly analytical combined with strong business sense
-Problem-solver with strong delivery capability
-Engage with project teams and the wider ASML organization
-Ambitious talent, with high potential and strong verbal and written communication skills
-Enjoys working in a fast-paced technology environment
