In the course of the further enterprise development and a succession we would like to gain you as technically well-versed and humanly appropriate management personality for a co-operation as Director Product Management & Sales.
Your key responsibilities
» Lead and represent the department internal/technical sales, sales engineering and Product Management
» Responsible for a design concept choice [design freeze], design exhibition model, release prototyping/testing and marketing activities
» Coordination and execution of technical sales in USA and European regions
» Provide training to Group Sales departments
» Supporting internal/external sales with regard to customer requests
» Participations on fairs/events
» Analysis of sales figures and define sales forecasts, determine sales prices
» Possible participation in projects as project leader
» Responsible of motivating, directing and supervising Product Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Manager Internal Sales and Manager Sales Engineering, developing the knowledge and indexing of training needs
Your skills & core competencies
» The target candidate has successfully completed an economics or technical degree, preferable in Business Engineering or with the main emphasis on mechanical engineering or has an adequate qualification
» Comprehensive experience in building customer relationships and expanding these with ongoing business partnerships
» Good business background, especially in the areas of sales, marketing and market research
» Sound technical understanding, especially in the segments of mechanical, hydraulic and electronic steering systems as well as axle suspensions or in the automotive industry [suppliers]
» Very good knowledge of the market and the industry and sales experience in foreign and export business
» Analytical skills to evaluate data from market research
» Balanced organization talent with good conceptual and strategic competence
» Qualified knowledge in staff management including the use of modern management tools
» The appropriate target candidate is a winning personality with stringent diplomatic internal and external communication
» Suitable candidates are confident with written and spoken Dutch, English and also in German
» Must be able to use MS Office applications and SAP ERP or similar to a competent standard
