Introduction
As part of lean deployment within our department, we are creating, simplifying and standardizing processes, procedures and work instructions. We need someone dedicated with the right experience to own and lead this initiative to set up and safeguard the foundation of we structurally.
Job Mission
As part of the Supplier Operational Excellence team, the Business Process Analyst will be the catalyst to drive the lean transformation and the adoption of a Quality First mindset within our SNM department.
The Business Process Analyst will actively work with key individuals within and outside the SNM department to acquire thorough knowledge of each departments operations and procedures. Working independently, he/she will write a manual describing the steps and requirements of each procedure. The Business Process Analyst will then work to guard that manual by findings ways to continually improve business procedures and processes together with those key individuals. The Business Process Analyst will identify the required changes that need to be made to the business and how to implement those changes to make them part of the departments DNA. Organize work procedures, instructions and complete manuals (Standard Operating Procedures) according to set standards regarding order, standardization, simplicity, clarity, accuracy, style, terminology and completeness; Work closely with internal customers to understand and identify opportunities for improvement; Generate process gaps, solutions and alignment using interviews, workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, task and workflow analysis;Formulate observations and recommendations for process improvement, risk mitigations, and improved controls; Incorporate strategic communications concepts (incl. compliance, branding and key message development) into deliverables. Use them to communicate consistently and effectively; Create presentations to present to key business stakeholders; Lead deployment of process improvements and make them stick; Participate in cross-department project work streams to manage any procedure impactDevelop, review and edit requirements, business processes and recommendations related to the project and or process improvements; Facilitate reviews by management, testing, and compliance to secure all approvals for procedures; Work under tight deadlines to document enhanced procedures that result from changes; Establish working relationships and routinely interface with business stakeholders, technology, subject matter experts, and any other relevant parties; Develop effective reporting tools for the department. Identify, track and report on issues; including their resolution; Ensure that proper procedures and best practices are maintained.
Education
Relevant Master degree is a must (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration or Engineering) Minimal 6 years of relevant experience analyzing, developing and implementing business processes
Strong project management, planning and organizational skills with an ability to outline initiatives and develop priorities in support of that vision
Excellent analytical skills (incl. data crunching / process analysis)
Ambitious and persistent self-starter with ability to coordinate activities under minimal supervision Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Willingness to be a team player
Personal skills
Extensive writing, composition and editing skills;Ability to listen well and gain credibility with others;Quickly develops understanding of the business and the challenges it faces; Connects dots very easily;Recognizes team dynamics challenges and acts appropriately to keep the project team focused and working effectively together.
