The European Compensation & Benefits team is part of Global C&B team. C&B is part of the Human Resources & Organization department.
The team is led by the European Head of Compensation & Benefits, Aad Bel, who has currently ten direct reports. For the role of C&B Manager ASML wishes to recruit a talented C&B professional who wants to contribute to building a high-quality and professional C&B team.
Position of Compensation & Benefits Manager
As C&B Manager you report to the European Head of C&B and contribute to the development and execution of customer-oriented C&B policies. The position is based in Veldhoven, The Netherlands. You will be co-responsible for planning, development, implementation and monitoring of consistent and transparent C&B programs and processes.
This involves close cooperation with several disciplines, such as Time Registration, Legal, Tax, IT, Accounting, Payroll and HR. You will work closely together with other C&B specialists and will have frequent contact with HR line managers and ASML business managers.
You will manage a small team (3 people) of working time specialists, and the main focus of your role will be on content. You will be the “owner” of Working Time regulations within ASML. This involves the development, maintenance and application of working schedules and all related documentation and tooling.
You will interact with employee representatives of the works council as well as with Trade Union representatives.
Your task will be to ensure that knowledge of ASML working time regulations and related legal requirements are embedded in the organization. This role requires a strong Compensation and Benefits background.
Responsibilities include:-
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is a broad Compensation & Benefits professional with both operational and strategic skills. You have state-of-the-art and in-depth knowledge in Compensation & Benefits, and gained experience with one of the leading consultancies in this area and/or in another company.
You have a university degree and at least 8 years working experience, most of which in Compensation & Benefits. Knowledge of and experience with Working Time regulations is essential.
The ideal candidate has excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Eye for detail must be combined with conceptual skills and overview.
You should be professionally self-confident and convincing at executive level, and at the same time be flexible and sensitive towards local business needs.
Presentation skills and fluency in both Dutch and English are prerequisites.
You are a pro-active and socially skilled team worker who draws inspiration from working in an international context and thrives in a complex and demanding environment.
Pragmatism and a ‘can do’ mentality are necessary to be successful in this position.
