Duties & Responsibilities
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
- Project management of DTS services.
- Management of Tooling assets, Area Business development, Client communication, and the Coordination and of equipment and personnel in the UK and overseas.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Travel to areas of project responsibility on an as required basis to manage and co-ordinate ongoing and specific project operations and development.
- Report accurate financial results and trend analysis of responsible projects to BOP Intervention Manager on a monthly basis for inclusion in FLASH.
- Market and promote DTS products and services.
- Actively assist in the preparation of tenders and proposals, including ITT reviews and working closely with the commercial teams to ensure tenders are submitted on time and to a high quality.
- Develop Technicians as part of the DTS workforce in area of operation.
- Raise Invoices and work in conjunction with the DTS Cost Accountant to ensure correct client and inter-company invoicing is conducted.
- Actively monitor and assist in the follow up and expediting of outstanding Invoices to ensure payments are made in a timely manner and in accordance with the contracts.
- Assist proposal preparation and marketing efforts in support of Area operations and general DTS Tooling product lines.
- Review Client supplied drawings and documents of related equipment to assess the required equipment. Attend safety meetings and pre/post job meetings when required.
- Ensure that any expatriate and local employees have the necessary training in order to conduct the operations to the highest level.
- Work within the QA requirements and procedures of the Company.
- Undertake Risk Assessments on all aspects of the operational activities under their control.

- Assist with any other duties as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING: (E – Essential; P - Preferred)
- Formal Management Training (P)
- HNC or Equivalent in Engineering Field (P)
EXPERIENCE (WORK): - Knowledge of typical WROV tooling systems (P)
- Experience of working with hydraulic systems (P)
- Experience of designing equipment including hydraulics and mechanisms (P)
- General project management experience (E)
WORKDemonstrated history of managing projects, personnel, cost, schedule, performance and customer interface (P)
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE: Familiarity with marine and offshore / subsea production equipment and operations in general and in particular with as many items as possible from the following: (P)
- Subsea Operations Onshore Support
- Subsea Trees and Manifolds
- ROV Tooling and Intervention methods
- Remotely Operated Vehicles
- Lifting and Handling Systems
