Team/division description:
The Manufacturing Quality & Audit team, as part of Quality Division, is responsible for promoting manufacturing, Quality improvement through Build-in-Quality at our European Manufacturing Companies (EMC).
The main Roles & Responsibilities of our team are following:
*Audit manufacturing Quality
*Promote & support improvement activities
*Enable sharing of knowledge of best practices amongst all EMCs
*Advice, reinforce and improve Quality Manufacturing Systems
Your responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to following:
*Analyse new/revised regulation requirements and estimate impact on business
*Liaise with different stakeholders (EMCs, Homologation, Japan, Design) in order to define framework how to manage new/revised regulation requirements
*Negotiate and achieve consensus with Type-Approval Authorities (TAA) on management of new/revised regulations
*Maintain Toyota Quality Control Standards to ensure regulation requirements are reflected accordingly
*Perform regulation audits and critical process audits at EMCs
*Support official audits conducted by TAA
*Support compliance of in-service vehicles with regards to emissions
*Engage in other activities within department
Profile
You have a degree in Automotive engineering:
*We are looking for young graduates or having max. 18 months experience in a manufacturing /quality /R&D /After Sales environment within an international company
*You have a basic understanding about vehicle homologation
*You have strong analytic and numerical skills, with strong eye for details
*You have good negotiation skills
*You have a logical and hands-on approach
*You are business minded - you fully grasp the potential implications of an alternative or a technical choice
*You have good communication and problem-solving skills in an open and professional manner
*Able to discuss with many stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and requirements
*You are fluent in English, any other language will be considered as an asset
*You are familiar with MS office tools (especially Excel and Access)
*You are willing to travel across Europe and to Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan
*Driving license valid for Europe is an asset
