ASML is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of chip-making equipment.
Our vision is to enable affordable microelectronics that improve the quality of life.
To achieve this, our mission is to invent, develop, manufacture and service advanced technology for high-tech lithography, metrology and software solutions for the semiconductor industry.
ASML's guiding principle is continuing Moore's Law towards ever smaller, cheaper, more powerful and energy-efficient semiconductors. This results in increasingly powerful and capable electronics that enable the world to progress within a multitude of fields, including healthcare, technology, communications, energy, mobility, and entertainment.
Within the Development & Engineering group Quality & Robust Design the FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) competence team is dedicated to increase the robustness of the ASML's products and processes by supporting technical risk assessment in design and industrialization. The activities are mainly focused within all phases of ASML's Product Generation Process.
Within this group, 3 distinctive roles exist: FMEA coordinator, facilitator and the means & method role. As FMEA facilitator, you will make a difference to the efficiency and profitability of the company by improving the focus on risk management in the product/process design in a way that improves the reliability of ASML products, product manufacturing and product servicing.
Using your unique mix of interpersonal skills, technical background and structured way of working, you will facilitate the FMEA execution process for those subjects that have been assigned to you by the FMEA Coordinator.
Job Description
You will facilitate FMEA sessions referenced to the ASML way of working in order to secure proper FMEA execution. You will contribute to the accumulated knowledge and expertise in all phases of new product development in order to reduce the level of technical risks. You will be the main driver of the FMEA execution plan of ASML's programs and projects.
Main responsibilities:
BSc, MSc in a technical study, like mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, chemical engineering or (applied) physics.
Experience
Priority will be given to candidates with at least four years practical experience within product development organizations. A technical background and experience in FMEA, risk assessment, six sigma and experience in a multidisciplinary environment is an advantage.
