EUMETSAT is Europe’s meteorological satellite agency. Its role is to establish and operate meteorological satellites to monitor the weather and climate from space - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This information is supplied to the National Meteorological Services of the organisation's Member and Cooperating States in Europe, as well as other users worldwide.

EUMETSAT also operates several Copernicus missions on behalf of the European Union and provide data services to the Copernicus marine and atmospheric services and their users.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Competence Area Manager to work with all parts of our organisation, engaging our teams to embed quality into everything we do. 

Quality Assurance Competence Area Manager (VN17 08) Job Requirements

You will join a forward thinking, dynamic management team and be responsible for managing Quality Assurance in our business. Collaborating with our Directors, the Head of Quality Management, our project teams and business partners, you will encourage them to focus on their ways of working and to find more efficient solutions to the challenges they face in developing and delivering our missions, along with mitigating risks.  Using ISO 9000 and ECSS/EN standards, you will be proactive; supporting and developing your teams and colleagues to identifying quality improvements and providing business critical skills.
