Responsibilities

• Strong working knowledge of Windows Server 2008 through 2012 R2, including core Microsoft software (IIS, File Services, Print Services, .NET Framework, SQL Server, etc.).
• Strong working knowledge on Exchange 2010+ and/or Microsoft O365.
• Help maintain global Active Directory and Exchange environments including troubleshooting, capacity planning, and continuity planning.
• Devise and follow company standards for Windows Server platforms, while collaborating closely with the team to continuously improve our processes.
• Interact directly with users and development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in design and maintenance of enterprise architecture, including software deployment, server patching, system configuration, and technology lifecycle planning.
• Provide advanced level expertise on troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2012 R2, Active Directory, and Exchange 2010/O365.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive documentation and diagrams, while also collaborating with other team members on standard processes and technology roadmaps.
• Respond to and resolve support requests in timely fashion, while balancing project timelines and other responsibilities.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
• Position will require being available to perform maintenance during non-business hours and over weekends, and availability for occasional business travel 
• Be a great team player with a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to quickly prioritize various projects, tickets, and incidents in a fast-moving organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or Computer Science, or other evidence of exceptional ability.
• 8+ years of experience as System Administrator managing Windows Systems & Exchange Email Infrastructure
• Advance level working knowledge on Windows Server 2008 through 2012 R2.
• Advance level knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange 2010.
• Experiencing installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Clustering.
• Strong knowledge of at least one enterprise virtualization platform (VMware, Hyper-V, RHEV, or KVM).
• Experience with PowerShell scripting or other automation technologies.
• Microsoft or VMware certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HP and Dell servers is a plus.
