RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead employees working with the injection molding machines, extrusion systems, compounding facilities as well as other processing technologies in the test facility in a shift system;
• Motivate, qualify, and develop the employees;
• Ensure an efficient implementation of current orders in the scope of research and development work, quality assurance, and customer samplings for the High Performance Polymers unit;
• Implement optimal processes and procedures in the test facility as well as initiate, evaluate, and implement measures for continuous improvement;
• Ensure all requirements are met for the procurement and storage of input materials and trail products;
• Responsibility for occupational safety, environmental protection, and quality assurance;
• Support the selection and procurement of required processing technology, availability of optimal systems technology;
• Close collaboration with the customers and process development engineers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully completed degree in engineering with a focus on process technology or plastics technology or a similar qualification;
• Experience in plastics processing, in particular in extrusion, injection molding, compounding of thermoplastics;
• At least five years of professional experience in leading comparable units;
• Experience in managing and motivating employees;
• Experience in labor organizations;
• Profound English and German language skills, written and spoken;
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills as well as team spirit.
