Task Description:
Software development for Machine Vision applications with Matlab, C#, C++
- Software that creates point clouds out of camera images
- Building of algorithms to analyse the point clouds (f.i. recognition of products in relation to equipment)Software development for embedded controllers in C
- Decentral equipment control with I/O, motor, Ethernet, CAN, USB, SD card, etc.Software development for Maintenance Suite in C#
- Software suite for software deployment, configure, test, diagnose and service of decentral controllers.Real time emulation test software development for Speedgoat PC with Matlab, Simulink, C#, C++
- Building models emulating real life equipment that generates the same physical signals to the decentral controllers as the real equipment (https://www.speedgoat.com/)Integration of sensors/actuators on our embedded controllers, think about:
- BLDC/servo Motor controls
- Intelligent sensors

Assignments examples from previous students:
1. Research and test of RTOS for embedded controllers

5. Speedgoat emulation software blocks of I/O signal control

Optional new assignments:
1. Network, automatic detection and addressing of decentral controllers
2. Parcel train flow detection on conveyors with a webcam application
3. Building configurable software blocks in our standard embedded controller.
- The configuration will be done with the Maintenance Suite
- The embedded software will be built on our embedded software platform.
