As Process Improvement (PI) Engineer you will be the Project leader of process improvement projects. You will be enabling cost savings, plant de-bottlenecking and product quality improvements through optimization of control strategies as well as qualification of alternative raw materials. As a PI Engineer you are working together with chemists, technologists and technicians to obtain proof of concepts in the laboratory environment. You will be working in a project-driven full scale plant in-between the laboratory/pilot plant and the manufacturing plants on our site in Middelburg.

You are a result oriented technical specialist and got excellent communicative skills. You are a creative thinker and have a continuous improvement and learning mindset.
As a PI Engineer, you are technically focused and always looking for improvement. Next to your analytical and project management skills you can motivate internal as well as external stakeholders to move forward with your ideas.
This is what you bring:
· Bachelor degree Chemistry / Process Technology
· Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in comparable job
· Project management / project leader capabilities
· Multi-disciplinary interest
· A belt in Lean Six Sigma or similar is an advantage
