Drive continuous improvement of the NXE3400 and future systems. Secure that the machines can be manufactured and serviced in an efficient and robust way.Do feasibility and concepts studies on new hardware that will be added to the machine.
Job Description
- Do layout studies and checks
- Validate concept changes. Do TPS/TAR on topics like layout (accessability), mass, tolerances
- Cooperate with the factory (FASSY, MID, BOTTOM workcentre). Identify and drive improvements on integration (manufacturability & serviceability)
- Support factory & field incase of issues related to layout.
Context of the positionYou will be part of the Mechanical Layout (ML) project, which is amongst others responsible for the mechanical system architecture. The team doesn't deliver hardware themselves, but has an overall responsibility during the whole V-cycle, that the total system can be build, transported, installed and serviced in a safe and efficient way.

Bachelor or Master degree in a Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- Experience with Siemens NX.
- Experience with tolerance calculations.
- Preferably NXE machine knowledge.
- Preferably experience in machine integration, (pre-)install or upgrades.
Personal skills- Pro-active attitude in getting the information (regular go to clean room, talk to people in projects)
- Helicopter view. Easily can determine priorities and main risks
- Teamplayer. Can easily cooperate with all sectors to find best solution.
- Good analytical skills. Works structured.
