Senior Project Engineer (Roermond | Fulltime)

The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.
This is the role
As Senior Project Engineer you will be based in Roermond and become part of ROCKWOOL Group Technology. You provide knowledge and support to the Operating Companies in all operational matters such as; production, supply chain, capital investments, safety, health and environment. You are responsible for the engineering and specification of project supplies including scope, timing, budget and the follow up on engineering, manufacturing and workshop testing of equipment and complete plants.
As Senior Project Engineer, you occasionally lead a small group of engineers and/or consultants. You fulfill the demands with respect to operational and technical documentation and work in close cooperation with the project suppliers and internal customers (Sales, Group Procurement and Operational organization).
This is what you offer
· At least a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
· At least 3 years of proven relevant equipment engineering and/or process engineering experience and/or experience in operational maintenance;
· Innovative skills in new technologies and working processes;
· Project management experience;
· Excellent communication skills in the English language (verbal and written);
· The ability and willingness to travel approximately 70 days p/yr.

You have a global mindset and the ambition to work beyond - and cross – borders of your own profession and you are able to participate in multidiscipline and multinational project-teams.
