Are you are a professional with a passion for people and maintenance technology? Are you interested in working as Maintenance Manager for a growing Catalyst Plant in Amsterdam? Then we are looking for you!

We are looking for a highly qualified Maintenance Manager for our site in Amsterdam. In this position you are responsible for the maintenance of all assets on site in order to ensure their safe operation and high reliability & availability. You are a professional with a passion for people and technology. This passion enables you to lead the Maintenance department towards a collaboration model characterized by customer focus, pro-activity and prevention.

You are part of the site leadership team; you will work towards structured improvement in terms of added value, reduction of waste and efficiency. As Maintenance Manager you give (indirect) guidance to approximately 70 employees.

Responsibilities:

• You will establish and implement, in consultation with stakeholders, strategic and tactical policies for the Maintenance Department. The goal is to improve the quality, reliability and predictability of maintenance on the site.
• You can switch between strategic, tactical and operational levels.
• You have an overview of the Maintenance activities on the site; you set priorities and are responsible for achieving deadlines and quality standards.
• You are responsible for the preparation of maintenance plans based on the maintenance vision aimed at ensuring and expanding the availability, reliability and safety of the short and medium term installations.
• You are responsible for the policies, procedures, progress reports aimed at being in control and acting within the legal and regulatory and safety standards.
• You are responsible for the expenses of maintenance and provide predictability in the spending pattern.
• Implement training programs to improve equipment product knowledge, employee performance and general problem-solving skills.

• Academic work and thinking level (preferably Technical University);
• Knowledge of modern maintenance philosophies and maintenance systems; knowledge of laws, regulations, codes and international standards for maintenance within a BRZO environment;
• Change manager with proven experience;
• Minimum 7 years of senior management experience in maintenance technology;
• Professional with a passion for people and technology
• You are result oriented, team player, good initiator & independent;
• Good oral and written expression skills in Dutch and English.
