Then you are the Product Manager Service we are looking for.
Your department
As a Product Manager Service you will be a part of the Product Management Services team within the Service Technolgy department of Global Services. Global Services is responsible for the development and implementation of Life-cycle Services to our systems worldwide, represents approximately 20% of Vanderlande’s total income and is growing strongly. Service Technology manages the life cycle of our products and customer installed base. Working together with Research & Development, Service Technology manages the service requirements and prepares the Global Service organization for effective and efficient execution of life-cycle services. You will report directly to the Group Leader Product Management Services. Secondly, Service Technology provides consulting on IT and Controls services and on revision, modification and retrofit projects for customers. And last, they also investigate new enabling technologies to improve our service offerings.
Your position
As Product Manager Service you are responsible for the service aspects during the entire life-cycle of Vanderlande Products. In a multidisciplinary Product Team (R&D, engineering, supply chain, marketing and service) you represent service for the products being developed, used during engineering and in the installed base. You will have a clear vision of the long term needs of our end-customers in terms of service and life-cycle planning and are able to convince senior management.
