Vanderlande – challenges in motion
Your role
As Marketing Communications Manager you will be responsible for the worldwide positioning of the Vanderlande brand for one of its market divisions (Airports, Warehousing, Parcel). We are the global leaders for value-added logistic process automation at airports and in the parcel market, as well as a leading supplier of process automation solutions for warehouses.
Our systems are operational at more than 600 airports – including 13 of the world’s top 20 – the world’s leading parcel companies, and many of the largest global e-commerce players. Vanderlande has large international customers, including Heathrow Airport, Zalando, Nike, Amazon, DHL and Albert Heijn. In consultation with the Marketing and Communications Director, the relevant Market Directors, the Sales Director and other stakeholders, you will translate Vanderlande’s corporate positioning into a market-oriented profile.
You will be required to travel regularly; approximately 10% of your time will be spent visiting contacts and sites all over the world.
You will report directly to the Marketing and Communications Director. You will also be part of the Marketing and Communications department, a team of 10 employees who manage Vanderlande's global positioning at corporate and division level.
This department is also responsible for online marketing and communications, recruitment communications, and internal communications. You will be based in Vanderlande's new, modern head office in Veghel.
