.Job Description
As IT Project Manager in our Competence Centers Big Data & Advanced Analytics you are responsible to fulfill new IT Demand forthcoming from our sectors. You will manage the execution of the projects after receiving a clear project assignment through Demand & Portfolio Management. Your key focus is on implementing new technology in the domain of Big Data and Advance Analytics with a team of System Engineers, Architects and business key users, all while managing your triple constraint; Time, Budget and Scope. Projects vary in size and time, ranging from 6 - 12 months and 300K to 2M. As Project Manager Business Intelligence you manage several topics like;
- Integration Management
- Create required PMM project documentation (Project Initiation Document (PID), Project Execution Strategy (PES)) that bring together the business need, the proposed solution, and the preliminary plan for scope, time and costs.
- Needs to be able to use project management tools and agile tools, to schedule and track progress of the work performed.
Scope Management
- Defines clear and unambiguously the IN and OUT scope of the project in terms of processes, deliverables, user groups, geographies, applications, data, etc. Supports the Product Owner in effectively executing his role
- Determines, based on scope, whether to subdivide major deliverables into smaller, more manageable projects.
Time Management
- Prepares and controls a project schedule that accurately reflects tasks, time estimates and resources (including personnel, technology and equipment) associated with each task.
- Controls scope changes that affect the project schedule; revises the schedule as necessary. Reacts to changes as appropriate.
Cost Management
- Prepares a project budget, broken down by time period (phases), cost types (Capex, Opex), cost components (hardware, licenses etc.) and resources.
- Provides a clear foundation for the needed contingency budget, based on risk mitigation.
Quality Management
- Is responsible to understand the business requirements and ensures that 'the product' will satisfy these.
- Measures project deliverables on quality and completeness regularly to ensure that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards.
Context of the positionWithin the “IT Competence Center - Big Data and Advance Analytics” the holder of this position will report to the “IT Solution Team Manager - Equipment Management”. This Solution Team is responsible for all projects and Non Standard Changes in Machine Data (Equipment Management)-area.
You will also acts as a ‘wing-man' to the “IT Solution Team Manager - Equipment Management” in the pre-startup phases of projects and act as an escalation level in a sub-domain of the “IT Solution Team Manager - Equipment Management”.You will work closely with IT Architects, Software Engineers and Project Leaders both in IT as well as outside of IT.
ASML - IT - Senior Project Manager Big Data / Advanced Analytics Job Requirements
- Master degree in field of Technology, IT or Business;
- Certified Project Management professional (PMP, CAPM, PgMP);
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a pré.
Experience- At least 10 years of experience as Project Manager;
- Extensive experience in Big Data and Advance Analytics / Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing projects is a must;
- 7+ years in Project Management in Technology Projects;
- Experience in Software Development / SDLC is a pré.
Personal skills- Act decisively and take responsibility;

- Capable of switching between classical PMM methodology and agile/DevOPS;
- Check and maintain quality;
- Demonstrate flexibility;
- Lead projects to results;
- Manage criticism.
