Your department
Service Technology is part of the Global Services organization which accounts for more than 20% of the total sales at Vanderlande. Global Services is responsible the development and implementation of Life-Cycle Services to our systems worldwide.
Working together with the Vanderlande Research & Development department, Service Technology manages the service requirements and prepares the Global Service organization for effective and efficient execution of life-cycle services. Secondly, Service Technology provides consulting on IT and Controls services and on revision, modification and retrofit projects for customers. And last, they also investigate new enabling technologies to improve our service offerings.
Your position
Vanderlande provides its customers with life-cycle services for material handling systems. IT and Controls technology (Software, IT hardware & infrastructure, IT security) is extremely important for the correct functioning of these systems.
As Service Consultant IT, you will support the Customer Centers in providing service contracts, extensions and upgrades within the Airports Business Unit. Furthermore, you will play an important role in improving and expanding these service products. In this challenging role, you will serve a large variety of customers worldwide and you will work closely together with the customer and supply centers to create and sell the best offer to our customers.
