About the job

The Technical Purchasing team in Eindhoven is responsible for the selection of components within the R&D organization, for this department we are looking for: The focus of the function is to handle all purchasing related activities within a cross-functional development team of new products (security cameras, public address and/or communication systems) which are being developed on site.

The sourcing of these components & products happens international (EU, Asia and NA) The technical purchaser has an active role in development projects, negotiates with existing and new suppliers and evaluates alternative solutions.

Within the projects-team he/she represents purchasing and takes care that all required activities are done, is responsible for the on time delivery of the required new components and to reach target costs for material and acts as the sparring partner for Engineering and Strategic Purchasing.

Main aspects: Part of project team; Cooperation with many stakeholders required; Relationship management towards (key) suppliers; Highly technical environment; Activities according internal guidelines; Maintaining international contacts; Travel to international suppliers; Project management of purchasing related activities; Acts on operational and tactical level.

Technical Purchaser R&D Job Requirements

Your profile

• Bachelors or master degree, highly preferred with technical content
• ; You have 3 to max. 6 years experience in procurement Having followed purchasing related trainings is preferred; Experience in technical purchasing is preferred
• ; Knowledge of relevant components is preferred
• ; Experience with working in projects
• ; Good understanding of English language in speech and writing is required Good understanding of Dutch and German in speech and writing is preferred
• Willingness to travel
