Vanderlande – challenges in motion
You will be responsible for supporting and continuously improving the business processes and related information systems within Vanderlande. You will be building bridges between IT and Business. This role focuses on Life Cycle Services and Continuous Improvement.
The department
Business Process and Information System Management (BPISM) operates as the intermediary between the operational business and ICT. In this role we translate the business needs into new or improved processes supported by IT systems. BPISM develops, implements, roll outs, embeds, safeguards and maintains solutions for all processes in Vanderlande worldwide as part of our continuous improvement program. The primary processes Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Supply, Realize on Site, Service are in scope, besides the supporting processes Finance, HR, ICT, Product Development, Master Data.
BPISM is also responsible for Quality Management and the ISO 9001 certifications. We organize audits, audit follow ups and continuously improve our management system: the "single source" for our ONE way of working.
The position
The Process Information Manager is part of the department Business Process and Information System Management (BP&ISM) and works closely together with Process Owners, Key-Users and the ICT & Quality organization. As Process Information Manager your scope is Vanderlande worldwide and you will be an expert in one (or more) of our business processes.
Tasks and responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships internally on senior management and board level and with external partners:
• Represent the business interests in ICT department
• Maintain "internal" customer satisfaction without neglecting the company constraints.
• Identify and prioritize global business improvements:
o Identify and analyze global improvements based on identified change requests and 'business experience’.
o Prioritize change requests and discuss them with process owners
o Translate ideas/opportunities in IT and process requirements
o Make Business case based improvement project proposals for Process Owner Board / Continuous Improvement Board.
• Manage and execute business improvements projects/changes
• Embed and safeguard Vanderlande's worldwide business process and information systems
o Train, support, analyze, audit, manage and decide on changes & problems.
o Drive and facilitate improvements together with Process Owner and Delegated Process Owners.
o Manage and develop Vanderlande's Management SystemYour working field will be our Worldwide Life Cycle Services organisation as well as, our overall Performance Management processes and the implementation of improvement methods used to achieve our strategic goals.
Your profile
• Academic degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization
• Good command of English, both verbal and written, is essential, Dutch is preferred, other languages are an advantage.
• Result-oriented, understanding of process, IT, human, product and organizational consequences
• Team player and strong focus on stakeholder management
• Willing to travel internationally (up to 50%, depending on the projects)
• 10+ years of experience, strong affinity with software
Preferably also:
• Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt /Agile / Scrum / Open Book Management / Business Gaming
• Knowledge of PSDM, ITIL, Prince2, Agile project management
