YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• In your new role you will initiate and steer application development projects with new and existing film products and/or new applications in cooperation with Commercial Operations
• Furthermore, you will coordinate technical activities in alignment with product and segment strategy
• The technical support of customers and partners along the value chain will be one of your further tasks
• Additionally, you will scout and benchmark new technologies within the films industry
• You will identify future technology trends in the market and support the transfer of new applications and technologies across the regions
• You will also conduct technical and product trainings and participate in industry trade shows and conferences
• You will be jointly responsible for technical lab equipment within Epurex and compiling of technical documents

Application Development Manager (m/w) Job Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

• You have an engineering degree with several years of work experience preferably in films or plastic industry
• You have a strategic and analytical thinking combined with the ability to translate complex customer needs into product requirements or technical solutions
• You show proven track record in customer interactions or proofed equivalent experience
• You have a friendly, balanced and self-assured personality with a high social competence as well as excellent communication skills
• You are flexible to travel internationally with peaks up to 30%
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken and good German skills round up your profile
