Your department
Vanderlande carries out a number of Business Support processes centrally in the Worldwide Shared Services department (WSS). In various countries outside the Netherlands, branches have been set up which are structured according to the Dutch model. This concerns activities in the areas of Finance, HR, Payroll, and Master Data Management. This position supports all fields of activity.
The WSS is part of the Finance & Control organization and provides high-quality and professional administrative services worldwide. Customer orientation, Innovation, Expertise and Accuracy characterize the department. A flexible attitude, intensive communication with the organization, a feel for the business and customer orientation are its key success factors.The WSS Business Scenario Support department (WSS BSS) supports the WSS teams worldwide in the optimal use of the Vanderlande administrative applications such as JD Edwards, Workday, SmarTeam, OnGuard etc. The department forms a Linking pin between WSS, its stakeholders and the Vanderlande ICT department, and is thus a key department for WSS for the successful elaboration of the Fit for Growth program.
Your challenge
The business scenario engineer is responsible for coordination/roll out of the new or changed processes and related IT functionality to key users and/or local roll out managers. He works closely with IT; he supports the preparation of the business requirements and the tool test.
• You will align priority with IT based on business impact versus effort.
• You will provide solicited and unsolicited advice on the use of applications, the implementation of processes in the applications and their optimization, worldwide.
• You will lead and participate in improvement projects.
• You have the ability to help make the WSS flexible so that it can properly keep up with changes at Vanderlande.
• You will report to the manager of the WSS BSS manager.

Your profile
• You have a bachelor (HBO) or university degree (WO) in Business Administration, Business Economics and/or ICT
• You have at least 5 years’ of relevant work experience in the world of applications and business processes, strong focus on registering, securing and leveraging knowledge and processes
• An ability to think in processes and to translate these into daily activities is essential
• You have outstanding Excel skills and you are fluent in English and Dutch
• You are a structured well organized but flexible, apble to manage global roll out projects
• Have the ability to define, implement and improve according to KPI’s
