Software Service Engineer (Spain) Job Description

Your department
Vanderlande is a multinational company, leader in the sectors of Baggage Handling Systems and Parcel& Postal. We sell, create and maintain integrated systems. Customer Centre Spain (V-ES) is a Vanderlande company, active throughout Spain, Portugal and LATAM countries. Our goal is to give customized solutions to our customers.  

Your position
As a Software Service Engineer your main functions/ tasks will be: 

• Solution of technical issues of high level control systems of the automatic installations, combining it with the occasional planning and execution of little improvements in the same installations. 
• Coordination with clients and suppliers;
• Troubleshooting in the programming and functioning of installations controlled from informatic systems.
• Troubleshooting of the architecture and functioning of the interface communications between systems.

​Your profile
As a Software Service Engineer within Vanderlande Spain, we are looking for a
person with the follow experience and skills: 

• Degree in Informatic or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Experience in C#, Visual Studio, .Net.
• Experience in PL/SQL (Oracle) interfaces.
• Experience in TCP/IP interfaces.
• Experience in automatic warehouses and logistic sector.
• Strong communicational skills and a creative approach to build professional client relationships;
• Ability to work within an international work environment, especially working within a project organization;
• Strong language skills in English (C1), both verbal and written, and a native/bilingual level of Spanish (C2);
• Willingness to travel;
