Team/division description:
Organic material department in Material Engineering Division is responsible for the development and evaluation of textile and plastic materials used in the car for the purpose of enhancing attractiveness of the car and contribution to environment (low emissions, CO2 reduction). Our function is to qualify European materials and to assure their performance; strength, process ability, durability over the lifetime of the vehicle taking into account all the environmental aspects the parts will be exposed to.
Your responsibilities:
· Investigate European plastic & fabric material technologies towards new sensory quality (i.e hygiene, durability, low emission)
· Locally develop new material grades and evaluate the performance of car parts
· Co-operate with designers, suppliers and marketing in order to secure design and market feasibility
· Support designers and quality engineers to solve the concerns raised both during manufacturing, and in the field.
