The Platform Development Software Engineer will join the support team where he helps people by answering questions, defining solution proposals and make small fixes to help solve issues using mainly C and sometimes C++ or Python.

Job Description
For a lot of issues it is not directly clear what might be the root cause which could also be outside the group. Therefore we expect that ownership is taken and interaction with stakeholders and people outside the group is started. This can take place under time pressure so you should be able to cope with that. In terms of soft skills, a big challenge will be to find the right people to help you and to be able to make them willing to help you.The following activities are part of the job:

• Adapt and extend the current framework including the belonging test suite.
• Deliver the required support to stakeholders and clients.
• Report daily on your progress in stand up meetings.
• Propose improvements were possible

ASML - Platform Development Software Engineer Job Requirements

Education
BSc. or MSc. in Electronics or Technical Software, Informatics or Computer Science

Experience

• Already had the role of software developer
• Knowledge of debugging and able to add non-intrusive diagnostics
• Knowledge of C / Python / C++
• ClearCase / Git
• Knowledge of scripting / tooling.
• Experience with Unix / Solaris / Windows / Office applications
