For this purpose 3D simulation models are developed with which we can analyse and optimize the performance of these systems.
Simulation models are also used to test the actual control software before it is deployed at the customer site. These type of simulation models are called emulation models. In combination with the real control software, they also serve as a platform to train operators in a controlled environment. The team that develops these emulation models is looking for another Software Engineer with good knowledge of Java SE.
Your Position
In our team you will be responsible for the development and support of emulation models that will be used for integrated testing of the actual control software. Together with the internal customer you determine the specifications for the model and write the software for it.
The modelled system components, together with the visualization software, are maintained in a dedicated library. Within your role you will also be challenged to contribute to and suggest improvements for this framework.
