ASML - Test Engineer Job Description
The Test Engineer analys and qualifies during the integration of one complete system. Integration is done on both functional level and on performance level on one the key performance indicators ASML's systems: Productivity.
He defines the optimal test/qualification strategy to achieve this goal and takes part in execution of this strategy on one or more platforms of DUV. During integration, the test engineer will analyses complex system issues and support in the definition and testing of the solution for such issues.
Job Description Overview of main activities
- define integration and test strategy on productivity deliverables: which items are needed in which order to perform stepwise integration into one system;
- support/participate in integration productivity tests on the system;
- report on system integration productivity progress, test results and the system's functional and performance;
Main Responsibilities
- Analyses and reports on machine data;
- Creates productivity TPSs;
- Creates recipes specific for productivity TPSs and CSRs;
- Reviews TPSs with possible Productivity impact;
- Fills Budget Breakdown Status Report with machine data;
- Executes the daily work in accordance with the Productivity team plan;
- Interfaces with System Test Engineer, Proto Integrators, Proto Engineer, Configuration Engineers, Upgrade Integrators and Project architects/engineers;
- Reports to Productivity Project Leader and Productivity Architect.

ASML - Test Engineer Job Requirements
BSc/MSc education level – Technical, preferably in Mechatronics and/or Software.
Experience
- Preferred at least 2 years hands on work experience in ASML machines or integration experience on other systems;
- Experience in integration activities, e.g. as integrator in multidisciplinary project.
Personal skills- Analytically strong, enthusiastic, flexible, assertive, proactive, structured;
- Ability to interface/cooperate with different people on different organizational levels;
- Ability/willingness to attend additional courses;
- Ability/willingness to work at local sites for short periods (max. 2 weeks/year).
