Your department
Vanderlande is a multinational company, leader in the sectors of Baggage Handling Systems and Parcel& Postal. We sell, create and maintain integrated systems.
Customer Centre Spain (V-ES) is a Vanderlande company, active throughout Spain, Portugal and LATAM countries. Our goal is to give customized solutions to our customers.
Your position
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be working closely with the Business Development Manager, the other Sales Engineers and with Layout Engineers on activities regarding the project pre-contract phase to ensure a successful project sale. As part of the sales team, it is your important task to identify and analyze the customer’s needs and transfer those into a successful sales concept.
During the offer phase you will have the responsibility to provide solutions regarding complex technical and business issues, especially data- and process analyses, concepts. You will also be the lead person to consult the client to find their best solution. Besides this, as part of the sales team, you are responsible for making a competitive and high quality quotation.
Your profile
· You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, and a strong preference to work within a business to business environment;
· You have 5-8 of experience as a Sales Engineer/Manager;
· You have experience within the Warehouse Automation Systems;
· You have strong analytical skills, the ability to use your logistic skills in analyzing and understanding customer processes, creating concept solutions and strong influencing skills;
· You have strong communicational skills and a creative approach to build professional client relationships;
· You have the ability to work within an International work environment, especially working within a project organization;
· You have strong language skills in English (C1), both verbal and written, and a native/bilingual level of Spanish (C2).
