The ESRF, the European Synchrotron, is an international science facility based in Grenoble, France. We are currently seeking to recruit a:
Software Engineer

The ESRF has started an ambitious modernization program named "Extremely Brilliant Source " (EBS). It will replace the existing storage ring by a brand new one with challenging characteristics. The accelerator control system is an object-oriented distributed control system developed upon a software framework called TANGO written in C++, Java and Python. The EBS requires a large number of new equipments to be integrated into the accelerator control system.
You will join a team of 10 software developers, the Accelerator Control Unit (ACU). You will contribute to the development, and will be in charge of the test, the deployment and the commissioning of the software necessary to control the new equipments of the EBS.
