Integration Engineer Job Description

Your Position
As an Integration Engineer you draw up the test design based on; a test plan, system design, system and customer demands. You implement test cases and scripts based on test design, prepare the test execution and build and configure the test environment. The programming of stubs/drivers and setting up the test-tooling, is also a part of this job. You independently execute the integration-, system- and acceptation tests (factory as well as site). You also analyze and report the test results, (production) problems and verify solutions.As an Integration Engineer you report to the Integration Manager. 

Your department
The Project Engineering department handles projects in multidisciplinary teams. Our customers are located around the world in a range of industries such as Warehousing (Fashion, Food, Parts & Components), Airports and Parcel & Postal. The integration of all components (mechanical, electronic and software) into a working system according to specifications is especially challenging for the large and complex projects. This is the focus area of the System Integration Management-team.

Integration Engineer Job Requirements

​Your Profile

• You have an Bachelor or Master  degree and 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of automated test-tools (execution, result registration, test management)  is preferred
• Basic knowledge of Software development  (V-Model, CMMi) and test processes is preferred
• Good communication skills in English
• Affinity with IT and Controls (PLC)
• Team player and proactive
• You are willing to travel for about 40% of the time
