Reinforcement Learning Engineer (m/f) Job Description

We are offering an exciting role as a (Senior) Software Developer (m/f) in the field of Reinforcement Learning.
Using your in-depth knowledge in the area of self-reinforcing learning, you will work independently to develop
new concepts for motion planning and decision making, and implement and evaluate them in simulation tests
as well as during testing under real conditions. As you will be integrating algorithms in a distributed software
architecture, your tasks will be characterised by strong degree of networking.
Furthermore, your tasks will include:

• the implementation of development tools for the effective simulation and testing of your algorithms.
• Implementation will largely be in C++ so that in-depth knowledge of this programming language is required.
• You will ideally also have development experience using Linux and ROS

Reinforcement Learning Engineer (m/f) Job Requirements

You should have:

• A university degree in information technology, robotics, engineering or a comparable degree.
• Practical experience in the field of reinforcement learning for robotic applications.
• A PhD would be an advantage.
• Practical knowledge of agile software engineering and object-oriented software development.
• In addition to C++ prior and extensive programming with Python would be advantageous.
• Enthusiasm for robotics, software and the automotive sector.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently.
• A proactive attitude and team spirit.
• Fluency in English.
