Machine Vision Engineer Job Description

Your position
You will work with state of the art Machine Vision solutions at a professional product development level. You, as an experienced Machine Vision Engineer will participate in the development of Machine Vision solutions that can be integrated into our products. You will do this in a mechatronic environment together with a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.Our innovative products and solutions are increasingly used in the field of robotics. For developments, you are responsible for designing, implementing and testing high quality control software. Tasks/responsibilities 

• Conceptual design of Machine Vision applications and translate them into a design;
• Control the decision process in domains of camera/scanner, lighting and controller platform;
• Write reliable, high-performant and production-grade software codes;
• The software development includes, integration of generated of code coming from model based image classification algorithms and also the integration of the product in our total system solution including the interfacing with other systems and operators;
• Coordinating test-setups for practical validation within our Innovation Centre;
• Contribute to our Machine Vision competence development.

Machine Vision Engineer Job Requirements

​Your profile 

• You have a relevant master degree in a technical subject;
• Experience of 5 years with software development within C++/C#;
• Knowledge and experience with Machine Vision systems, including 3D applications;
• It is an advantage if you have programming skills with Matlab, Simulink or Stateflow and experience with Git and Powershell;
• You are a team player with good communication skills;
• You speak, read and write English and Dutch (or willing to learn).
