As Senior Quality Manager for Quality Process Improvement (QPI) Business line (BL) Applications (APPs) you will be responsible to support the Innovation & Industrialization departments and the Product Development Programs of ASML in driving the completion of their process framework, continuously improving their processes for effectiveness and efficiency and realizing their Quality objectives.
Job Description
- Gives input to the BL APPs Quality roadmap in line with the ASML Quality roadmap in alignment with quality and business stakeholders.
- Defines and gets agreement with stakeholders and/or project sponsors on a required product- process or competence assessments.
- Leads project teams in analyzing process gaps, identifying improvements, support implementation and securing consolidation in the sectors.
- Presents to the stakeholders the roadmap and level of effort to implement the desired state.
- Prepares and executes assessments on Product Generation Process (PGP) deliverables, process adherence and ASML process knowledge to identify gaps and initiate improvements.
- Manages and delivers customer centric process improvement initiatives through business process management alternatives.
- Analyzes and re-engineers processes, with an understanding of functional and technical problems and solutions relating to the current and future business environment.
- Works through the end to end process change cycle (including testing, training and implementation).
- Delivers to the agreements made with key stakeholders and/or project sponsors. Responsible for developing deliverables and presentations for status and management reporting.
- Leads sessions to identify root causes of quality or process issues identified (e.g. by value stream analysis, 5 Why's analysis, Kaizen events, brainstorming sessions, etc.).
- Undertakes feasibility studies and competitive and industry analysis to develop recommendations for improvement
- Supports the QPI BL APP manager on strategic quality subjects, implementation strategy and acts as his/her back-up.
Context of the positionThe Senior Quality Manager for QPI BL Applications reports to the Senior Manager QPI BL DUV&APPs within QPI Staff. The QPI BL APP team works closely with process experts, process owners and other stakeholders in the BL Applications business environment as well as competences within QPI and other sectors. The Senior Quality Manager contributes to the Quality Roadmap of ASML, support the growth of the BL Applications from Quality- efficiency perspective in relation to Product- Process and competence building.
ASML - Senior Quality Manager Business Line Applications Job Requirements
We prefer a Master degree (MBA or Msc) in Development- Engineering or Quality management, or business administration with relevant experience.
Experience
- Several years of experience preferably in several of the following fields: industrial engineering, process engineering, supplier quality management, quality management and product development of technically complex products.
- Experience as project manager, program manager or line manager.
- Experienced in Lean Six Sigma and other quality methods and tools like e.g., value stream analysis, 5 Why's analysis, Kaizen, brainstorming sessions, problem solving techniques, FMEA, 8D , Ishikawa diagrams.
- Knowledgeable in international quality standards. (ISO9001/14001/ TS16949),
- process assessments and audits.
- Experience of facilitating discussions and workshops and engaging reluctant partners in the definition of the solution.
- Preferable knowledge of ASML processes, specifically Product Generation Process and/or program management.
- Significant experience of process improvement, design, definition and capture using recognized methodologies.
- Experience in working with Business Process Management (BPM) framework, business process requirements and system requirements and using BPM tools.
