Accelerator Physicist (M/F) Job Description

Job mission:

• You will develop particle accelerator systems and related components with a multidisciplinary team of engineers. Your contribution will start during the concept design phase and will end with the design validation process. Your output will be translated into product.
• Develop / integrate / automate scientific equipment to supplement existing product line
• Generate IP and bring new ideas to innovate/improve HVE technology
• Create scientific output and present results to scientific communities

Accelerator Physicist (M/F) Job Requirements

Education:

• Master or Ph.D. degree in Physics, preferred in applied Physics. Background in semiconductor technology preferred

• Good communication skills, both written and oral. Full professional proficiency English language required. Communication with external companies from high-tech market
• Strong skills in implementation of external products with HVE applications
• Strong client/market focus and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Set specifications/requirements for cross-functional teams (Software, Electronics).
• Decisive, responsible and pro-active attitude within the design/test team
• Result driven with a “can do” spirit
• Ability to perform under pressure with correct decision-making
• Ability to take ownership of product/technique
• Practical skills and experienced with semiconductor production tools, focusing on wafer processing (highly advantageous)

• Product or prototype development preferably with affinity in electronics
• High-tech scientific or industrial equipment
• Cooperating in small multidisciplinary teams, ability to steer and lead if necessary
• Design, testing and operation of accelerators and ion sources (highly advantageous)
• Semiconductor industry environment (highly advantageous)
