You deliver IT Projects and manage the complex IT project portfolio in supply chain management & manufacturing.
Job Description You are the Project Manager that takes ownership in complex projects that can have impact across ASML. You will get enthusiastic by taking ownership for and having in-depth understanding of key project content. Ensuring strong alignment between business and IT in general, and all project stakeholders in specific comes natural to you. As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Project Reporting & Monitoring:
- Ensure timely delivery & quality of overall reporting and project management deliverables.
- Project management:
- Perform pro-active stakeholder management and contribute to change management as required.
- Improvements:
- Capture lessons learned during the project and share these pro-actively with Project Board at project phase gates and closure, and provide (mitigating) actions.
The kind of projects you will be working on when you start as Senior Project Manager:
- Approximately 3 out of 4 projects are SAP related;
- Other kind of projects are typically in the areas of:
- Advanced Supply Chain Planning;
- Transport Management;
- RFID;
- Non-PR procurement.
Projects vary in size and time. Larger projects go over 1MEUR and up to 1 year lead time. Projects with strong interdependencies are managed as a program.You will be working with a (small) team of consultants, process analysts, architects, and business stake holders.
Context of the position ASML ITThe IT division supports information management, infrastructure and (automation and optimization of) key business processes across ASML. The ICT infrastructure, hardware and applications are absolutely mission-critical for almost all ASML's internal and external activities. A sub-department within the IT organization is the
IT Competence Center Supply Chain Management & manufacturing. This Competence Center is responsible for providing the right IT systems for the core business processes of Operations (Manufacturing, Logistics, Central Planning, Sourcing, Quality & Process Improvements and Facility Management). Customers of this department are internal customers, whose goal is to provide world class systems and services for all major chip makers around the world, and who therefore need the best tools available.
ASML - IT - senior Project Manager SAP SCM & Manufacturing Job Requirements
Academic working and thinking level. Ideally, you will have a Master degree in field of Technology, IT or Business.
Experience
- 10 years hands-on experience as a Project/Program Manager;
- Experience with Global SAP implementations in supply chain management or manufacturing;
- Proven track-record in leading multi-disciplinary project/program teams;
- Sound knowledge of project management methodologies like PRINCE2 and PMBOK;
- Excellent English communication skills. Command of the Dutch language is a plus;
Personal skills- Ambitious, result driven and flexible;
- Take responsibility and ownership.
- Think broadly and able to see the big picture.
- Manage criticism, convincing behavior.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills to advise middle and senior management
