As a Product Engineer you keep you constantly informed about the components of our products. Are there changes in the components? Then you know what the consequences of those changes and take actions so that you can go through production. You make sure that you make the technical product documentation for new products.
Is a particular component is no longer available? Then you start looking for an alternative component. This is done in collaboration with the purchasing department and R & D.
You will participate in Value Engineering projects. Here you go a targeted search for a possible change in the design of the product in order to save costs.
You make PWB designs for new products and test equipment. You'll get information from the hardware engineer. You make a design in CR5000 and spends the PWB fabrication out. Then line the PCB assembly and do the testing and quality control.
You are a source of information for Production and Purchasing when it comes to the components of our products.
You support the production department. Your remedy faults and is actively looking for opportunities for improvements in the product and the process.
You carry out technical calculations and writes technical evaluation.
Within the location of Den Bosch, you work closely with your colleagues Product Engineers. You also maintain contacts with other locations such as China, Japan and America.
What kind of person we are looking for?
You're an Bachelor/master Electronics is supplemented by about three years of work experience.
You have knowledge of electronic components and you have experience in electronics product development.
You have prior experience in a production environment. You like to work in such a dynamic environment.
You can work with CAD.
You communicate easily with colleagues across the organization. You do this in both Dutch and English.
