Engineer Team Leader Job Description

• As Engineer Team Leader you are responsible for the organisation, coordination and steering of the engineering department which consists of project leaders, designers, drawers, R&D engineers and process engineers.
• Drafting and supervising the planning and setting priorities based on customers’ requests are also among your tasks.
• You develop and maintain engineering tools such as software, eplan and autocad.
• As Engineer Team Leader you ensure that all projects are carried out according to the ruling safety and quality instructions.
• You take into account the standardisation and procedures within and without the boundaries of the department as well as the budget.
• You are responsible for researching, developing and implementing business innovation and automation in order to increase efficiency.
• As Engineer Team Leader you design innovation roadmaps based on a long-term vision.
• You strive for continuous improvement based on the analysis of the KPI’s

Engineer Team Leader Job Requirements

Education

As Engineer Team Leader you should have at least a bachelor degree in electromechanics, electricity or electronics or similar knowledge through experience.

Experience

• You can demonstrate relevant experience as a team leader.
• You have excellent technical and analytical insights and are familiar with standardisation.
• As Engineer Team Leader you have prior experience with electrical engineering.

• You highly valuate stress resistance, team work, communication, accuracy and efficiency.
• You are fluent in Dutch and knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
