Reliability Engineer - INGEGNERE DI MANUTENZIONE Job Description

The primary role of the Reliability Engineer is to manage asset reliability in order to minimize adversely effects on plant and business operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works with Project Engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations to  minimize total cost of ownership;
• Guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment;
• Professionally and systematically defines, designs, develops, monitors and refines both preventive, predictive and improvement maintenance activities;
• Manages ISO9001, ISO140001, ISO18001 and ISO50001 for what concerns measurements, calibration program, preventive maintenance activities;
• Provides input to a Risk Management Plan that will anticipate reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operation;
• Works with the team to define operating condition, reliability and costs of assets;
• Works with production to support autonomous maintenance (TPM);
• Provides technical support to maintenance management and technical personnel;
• Applies value analysis to repair/replace, repair/redesign, and make/buy decisions;
• Manages Mechanical Integrity program;
• Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues. To fulfill this responsibility the Reliability Engineer applies: Data analysis techniques, Statistical Process Control, Reliability modeling and prediction, Fault Tree Analysis and Weibull Tree Analysis, Root-cause and Root-Cause Failure Analysis etc.

Reliability Engineer - INGEGNERE DI MANUTENZIONE Job Requirements

Educational/Qualifications:

• Master degree in Mechanical Engineer or Master degree in Chemical Engineer but with proven experience in reliability engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in German is an absolute plus.
