ASML - EUV Scanner Program Manager Job Description
Customer service is building an EUV support organization to secure the ramp of EUV into volume production at our customer sites. The CS NPI EUV Scanner Program Manager is responsible for the field introduction of all EUV scanner products. This responsibility covers the entire PGP process from product specification through volume production. You will represent CS in the EUV scanner program, manage site preparation before first shipment and setup and operate improvement loops to drive product and service maturity.You will lead a CS project team of equipment, applications and training project leaders with close links to CS local teams, D&E and the program as well as cross sector colleagues in manufacturing, supply chain and logistics. The role of CS NPI Program Manager is not easy. There are many complex interfaces to other departments and sectors and you will need to balance between short-term operational issues and long-term objectives. This is a challenging and fast-paced job. As a member of the CS NPI-NTR EUV Staff you will have an opportunity to set the direction of the EUV support organization and secure ASML's future by building an effective and efficient EUV service organization.
Job Description
1. Overall Project Manager for CS NPI EUV Scanner
- Lead a multi-level project organization with project managers, project leaders and engineers from multiple departments in CS.
- Define and drive the overall CS EUV scanner master plan.
- Secure alignment on scope/time/resources between CS management and the BL program.
2. Represent CS in the EUV scanner program
- Drive for ASML-optimized decisions in the program team and secure alignment between CS stakeholders and the program.
- Prepare and align Key Decisions via the PGP process.
- Align deliverables and KPIs between CS and the program and drive to achieve in a transparent way.
3. Set up and operate improvement loops
- Set up and drive field feedback into the program.
- Align and drive for prioritized solutions from D&E and other sectors.
- Drive solution releasing and implementation in the field.
- Use feedback loops to achieve service performance and service cost objectives.
4. Manage the field introduction of new products
- Secure the definition, delivery and release of the procedures, diagnostics, training, spares, tools, infrastructure, etc. required for successful field introduction.
- Manage site readiness for new products.
- Prepare and execute the handover to HVM and Field Factory segments of CS.
Context of the position The Customer Service Organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair and maintenance of ASML products at our customers' sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. The NPI-NTR Segment (New Product Introduction and Node Transition) is responsible for delivering service to the customer R&D fabs and for enabling ASML's customers to achieve their product roadmaps. The NPI-NTR EUV department is responsible for delivering headquarters service support to the field sites. ASML - EUV Scanner Program Manager Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, or equivalent experience; knowledge of Electronics, Mechanics, Optics, Software, semiconductor processes, and related disciplines.
Experience- Experience in managing a multi-level project organization of >30 people
- Experience within the ASML organization, specifically with Operations and/or D&E is a must.
- >5 years (project) management experience
- Knowledge of ASML products on a technical level.
- Knowledge of the PGP Process
Personal skills- We are looking for a service-minded project manager
- with a strong personal drive and
- strong change management skills.
- You should be capable of influencing people without formal authority, also at higher management levels.
- You need to be able to think in terms of processes and also step into the operation to achieve results.
- You also need extensive experience servicing ASML technology in order to drive issues with the D&E organization.
- You will be a key interface between headquarters and the field organization so strong multi-cultural communication skills are a must.
Other InformationPosition will include occasional traveling (~10%).
