Integration Manager Job Description

Your position:

As Integration Manager you’ll be responsible for translating the customer requirements into a carefully designed system with the lowest possible risks. You’ll make sure that the system is handed-over according to specification by your colleagues and suppliers. During the design process you’ll support the Project Manager and Project Leader in resolving technical and system-related issues.
Other responsibilitues include:

  • You’ll lead the test phase and ensure a smooth, seamless transition to our customers’ operational processes.
  • Advising on the use of standard solutions and the impact of special solutions
  • Understanding the customer processes and acting as advisor in correctly estimating the impact of changes
  • Ensuring that all project and customer requirements are met
  • Developing the integration plan, the test specifications and the test plans
  • Progress monitoring with clear, concise reporting
  • Managing component deliveries by suppliers by means of verification and validation
  • Integrating (sub-)systems in existing customer systems
  • Identifying risks and finding solutions to reduce them
  • Finding potential and unresolved problems through an efficient, ‘common sense’ approach
Your department:

The Project Engineering department is responsible for the execution of projects in which the different components (mechanical and controls) of our material handling systems are implemented. 

Integration Manager Job Requirements

Your profile

  • You have a technical or logistics education, at least Bachelor level
  • Preferably you’re familiar with customer processes in the Warehouse Automation, Parcel & Postal and/or Baggage Handling industries
  • You’re an experienced system integrator, and you’re familiar with system assurance system (requirement management, testing and validation, change management and configuration management)
  • You know how to built partnerships with customers and with internal and external suppliers
  • You know how to find the right balance between quality, lead time and cost
  • You have well-developed analytical skills, and you think at system level
  • You’re willing to travel, and to spend 25% to 50% of your time working on-site in the project handover phase
