Technical Improvement Project Engineer Job Description

Job Description:

• As a Technical Improvement Project Engineer you will play an important role in the European operations team and will primarily focus on automation projects that can improve the productivity of the six production sites in Europe.
• You report to the European Operations Director and works closely with local production engineers, production managers, technical managers and / or plant managers.
• You are responsible for the deployment of a "European technical improvement roadmap" to each production plant in accordance with the European Operations Director.
• You are responsible for the design and coordination of smaller and larger automation projects and lead the overall "Productivity Improvement Program".
• You support the local production sites in the adjustments in the facilities (cooling, raw material transport, data capturing, ...).
• For local technical managers you act as a coach and a central point of contact. Additionally you stimulate the exchange of "best practices".
• Finally, you will be responsible for monitoring the technical investment and you analyze ROI.

Technical Improvement Project Engineer Job Requirements

Profile Description

• You have Master in industrial engineering and a passion technics and automation.
• You have several years of relevant experience in automation of production environments.
• Experience in plastics processing techniques (i.e., injection) is a plus.
• You are able to self conceptually develop automation projects and subsequently implement i.s.m. local teams in the production sites.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of an additional European language is an advantage.
• Sense of initiative, results orientation and strong analytical skills characteristics you.
• You are flexible and willing to travel regularly within Europe.
