This is the role
As an International Category Manager you will be joining ROCKWOOL’s Global Procurement organisation, Group Sourcing and Procurement, working out of our office in Netherlands (Roermond). Your main responsibility will be the acquisition of Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Materials and Services for the Group. As an International Category Manager, you will ensure that we adhere to the already defined procurement processes and continuously make sure that we develop the best and most cost-efficient solutions. Next to this, the International Category Manager is responsible for strategy, sourcing, negotiations and contract management – also in our SAP system - for specific suppliers and category groups. An integral part of the job is developing and maintaining close relations with your colleagues across ROCKWOOL's Operating Companies around the world. The position of International Category Manager involves significant international travel to supplier and ROCKWOOL locations.
