ASML - Applied Measuring Engineer Job Description
As an expert you will take the lead in applied measurement engineering for tooling.You will deliver/develop sensor and actuators control software, preferable using LabVIEW.The goal is to build control software for tooling in collaboration with other disciplines in project team. Occasionally you can be asked to assist field service support to resolve issues at the customer site.
Main activities:
- Takes the lead in complex tool controls development or issue solving.
- Participate in D&E projects starting from early Product Generation Process phases to secure concurrent tool controls development.
- Translate user requirement specifications into tested and released control software.
- Create and execute plan, clear communication on status and results
- Innovate and keep up with relevant developments in own specialist field and secure competence
- Develop and maintain own network and exchange knowledge with other professionals.
Context of the position The holder of this position reports to the Group Leader in Development & Engineering, Mechatronics Hardware, Mechanical Development, Manufacturing & Service Tooling.
ASML - Applied Measuring Engineer Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor or Masters in technical science, preferable Mechatronics, Electronics, Physics or Mechanics.
Experience- At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems or related experience desired.
- Knowledge of precision engineering, ergonomics, dynamics, mechatronics, thermal and high precision adjustment, position and fixation solutions.
- Strong emphasis problem solving and effective communication.
- Preferably: LabVIEW, Matlab, Team Center, SAP
Personal skills- Excellent social and communication skills in English.
- Candidate must be able to communicate effectively throughout different levels within the organization. Strong negotiation skills for interacting with other sectors and supplier.
