Division description

As a part of ASML's Machine Control and Infrastructure Software department, you will provide the software solutions that provide the computer system functions for ASML's scanners. Your solutions emerge from sound software engineering practice and take efficient effort to develop and maintain. We are continuously delivering new technologies to our internal customers that enable them to develop applications and we deliver service applications to our field engineers that enable them to update computer systems in the field and factory with the latest software versions. Part of the software is delivered by third party suppliers and part of the software is developed by ASML.

Job Description

You create, tune and support embedded VxWorks (Linux) distributions for TWINSCAN sub-systems. You participate in processor selection, benchmarking and integration activities. You help with application behavior analysis on multi-threading, multicore systems to help find and solve performance bottlenecks. Besides you wil also create abstraction layers for new (multi-core) embedded processor boards and develop system resource diagnostic tooling.

Education

• We are looking for strong Software Developers.
• Candidates with a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Embedded systems or Informatics.

• 3+ years as Software Engineer   
• Experience with C++, Perl, Windriver VxWorks   
• Experience wit Software Configuration Management (Clearcase, JIRA/GIT)
• Experience with Bootstrap Protocol (BOOTP)

• Strong communicator with a pragmatic attitude.
• Real team player with Quality orientation.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Takes ownership, decisive.
