Divison description
As a part of ASML's Machine Control and Infrastructure Software department, you will provide the software solutions that provide the computer system functions for ASML's scanners. Your solutions emerge from sound software engineering practice and take efficient effort to develop and maintain. We are continuously delivering new technologies to our internal customers that enable them to develop applications and we deliver service applications to our field engineers that enable them to update computer systems in the field and factory with the latest software versions. Part of the software is delivered by third party suppliers and part of the software is developed by ASML.
Job Description
You will be working in the operating system (OS)/ Abstraction team.
Working as a software engineer in the operating sytems (OS) team, you participate in integration and benchmarking activities. You help with application behavior analysis on multi-threading, multi-core systems to help find and solve performance bottlenecks. You also work on an abstraction layer for new (multi-core) embedded processor boards. Help develop future embedded platform replacing EOL PPC CPU & VME bus.
