ASML is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of chip-making equipment.
Our vision is to enable affordable microelectronics that improve the quality of life.
To achieve this, our mission is to invent, develop, manufacture and service advanced technology for high-tech lithography, metrology and software solutions for the semiconductor industry.
ASML's guiding principle is continuing Moore's Law towards ever smaller, cheaper, more powerful and energy-efficient semiconductors. This results in increasingly powerful and capable electronics that enable the world to progress within a multitude of fields, including healthcare, technology, communications, energy, mobility, and entertainment.
This is an extremely rare opportunity to put your expert knowledge to work, to share it with others, and expand it in new, exotic directions. You will overview our huge electricity consumption patterns, analyze where our campus uses electricity and then develop a consumption-reduction and sustainability Masterplan. Above all, you will gain the insight to identify risks and the strategies to eliminate them.
You will also have the talent to uncover ‘blind spots', to discover hidden opportunities (and threats), to make creative connections and optimize our electricity supply and consumption. And all of this while ensuring optimum business continuity with highly reliable, cross-campus, high-quality electricity supply and emergency power back-up for critical installations.
This is a highly demanding job, but one that will enable you to shine with highly valuable and totally measurable results.
Job Description
You will be the functional owner of all our electrical installations, and will be responsible for distribution, transformers, and emergency power units over each installation's entire lifecycle. You will also ensure that peak demand never exceeds contractual power.
