Lean Expert (f/m) UMS (Consulting/Training) GmbH - Frankfurt am Job Description

Your tasks

• Partner with our clients and help them being successful implementing a Lean Six Sigma culture
• Plan and execute CI deployments in operations, administration and service environments together with UMS Senior Managers
• Together with UMS Senior Managers perform Value Stream Analysis to identify potentials for improvement and roadblocks along the Value Stream filling the CI activity portfolio
• Run multi-day Kaizen improvement events at client sites aiming for both bottom line results and knowledge transfer to local CI teams
• Train and mentor Lean Practitioners across the client’s businesses
• Actively help shaping the UMS Lean offering

You should have

• Experienced a true Lean Transformation as Operations Leader, Lean Leader, CI Leader or Value Stream Manger
• Proven hands-on Lean application and deployment experience
• Experience in operations at a mid- to upper management level
• Good English and excellent German language skills are a MUST
• Deep belief in Lean principles and the passion to drive improvements
• Leadership presence paired with impulse control
• Effective communication at all levels, from front liner to C-suite
• High customer focus, analytical skills and a sense of responsibility for high quality services
• Formal Lean Expert Training (min. 3 weeks by a multi-national with a reasonable Lean program)
• Dynamic and highly creative
• University degree, e.g. engineering
• Flexibility with respect to place of work. Business trips are preconditions in this position.

• Deep understanding of Lean enterprise
• Cross functional exposure including sales, marketing, operations
• MBA or other post-graduate business management qualification
• Experience working abroad
• Six Sigma BB/MBB training
• Ability to run events in another European language, e.g. French, Polish, Russian, Dutch, Spanish etc.

• Additional qualifications, e.g. Six Sigma (Master) Black Belt Training, Train-the-Trainer, Coach-the-Coach, Leadership etc.
• TÜV or DGQ Certification
