Senior Project Manager (m/f) R&D Pharma on Short Term Contract Job Description

Main Tasks:

• Accountable for product plans with direct accountability for product deliverables
• Working closely with the Project leader to make sure, strategic and operational management is fully aligned
• Responsible to ensure all projects are delivered on time to cost, performance and quality
• Responsible for the co-ordination of the project budgeting process – liaises with departmental and functional heads to establish project FTE requirements and direct costs and build these into project financial workbooks
• Accountable for liaising between a broad range of parties both internal to the company and external partners to ensure agreement of project deliverables and timelines
• Manages the information relating to projects including the development and maintenance of project sites on the R&D Intranet and ensuring the smooth flow of information within Project Teams

Senior Project Manager (m/f) R&D Pharma on Short Term Contract Job Requirements

Key Competencies:

• A graduate from a University of Applied Sciences with a focus on management or natural sciences, or similar formal education and training
• 10 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of clinical research and drug development

• Excellent experience with MS-Office with particular understanding of project planning software (eg MS Project)
• Excellent understanding of project management principles, and project management tools, skills and practices
• A clear understanding of the drug development process and the ability to input into project decisions
• Ability to work effectively through teams to achieve results
• Fluent in English (both oral and written)
• Willingness to travel
